Pastors Ben and Barbara are committed to strengthening the Christian Church through their teaching. Married since 1978, they have learned and grown both as a couple and as Christians.
Pastor Ben Ramsey
Pastor Ben also serves as Executive Director of Northeastern Regional Bible College. In this role, he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the College and serves as a member of the faculty. Pastor Ben is committed to teaching and preaching the word of God uncompromisingly, but with relevance for day-to-day living. His greatest desire is to see people fulfill their God ordained purpose in life.
In addition to his work in the ministry, Pastor Ben is founder and president of GLM Management Consulting Group, LLC, an organization that provides human resource and business development services to public sector organizations and small businesses. Pastor Ben holds a Master’s degree in Ministry from Central Christian University in Wynne, Arkansas; a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina; and, a certificate in Marriage and Family Counseling from the Center of Biblical Counseling in Forest, Virginia. Pastor Ben has also completed the Kaiser Permanente’s Executive Management Program through Stanford University at Stanford, California..
Pastor Barbara Ramsey
Pastor Barbara also oversees the women’s ministry, children’s ministry, ushers and greeters’ ministry and Tuesday night bible study. In addition to her role as administrative pastor of CNR, Pastor Barbara serves as Director of Student Affairs and Administrative Services for Northeastern Regional Bible College. In this role, she is responsible for planning and coordinating student activities, maintaining students’ financial records and advising students on their financial status with the College.
Pastor Barbara is recognized for teaching the word of God with simplicity and clarity. She is committed to strengthening the church by helping to build strong marriages and families.
In addition to her work in the ministry, Pastor Barbara is a retired teacher of the Wake County Public Schools in Raleigh, North Carolina. Pastor Barbara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina. She is currently completing course work toward her Master’s degree in Christian Counseling.
